Beggars & Choosers

by David Sparrow

david sparrow

David Sparrow spent his formative years playing bars and clubs in and around Baltimore, MD but the music bug brought him to Los Angeles in the summer of 2003. After a 12-year run with Los Angeles based band Burning Jet Black, Sparrow struck out on his own and has recently returned to the Maryland area. His sound can be described as Americana, falling somewhere between Jason Isbell and Elliott Smith…with a little Paul McCartney thrown in for good measure.

"Beggars and Choosers" is his first official solo album.

Melodic is the simplest way to describe it.

Produced in no small part by Stephen Coler (Lost Beat 6 Records) and Rob Conrad (Fiskit Studios) this album is bringing to life a full realization of Sparrow's songs old and new.
